FOUNDER AND LEADING TUTOR

Hannah teaches in a NSW highly-ranked comprehensive high school on the north west area. She is also a member of the Mathematical Association of NSW. Hannah understands individual students’ needs and assists students to achieve their personal best in maths. She has years of experience in exam preparation and HSC maths courses. Hannah is passionate about delivering conceptually meaningful lessons to students from all year groups.

CO-FOUNDER AND COURSE COORDINATOR

Mike is the co-founder of InFocus Education. It all started when he was a high school student, who always learned the best in understanding through concrete examples and explicit demonstrations. With the notion of elevating quality lessons for students outside of their daily classrooms, Mike devotes himself to helping students find confidence in high school maths.

Mathematics Tutor

A current high school Mathematics teacher, with 3 years of classroom teaching experience and 2 years of tutoring experience, working with students from Year 5 to Year 11 Advanced Mathematics. They also hold a Master of Secondary Teaching specialising in Mathematics.

Focuses on identifying gaps in understanding through purposeful questioning and discussion, then providing targeted support to help students build confidence and make steady progress in Mathematics

Mathematics Tutor

Sarah is a high-achieving mathematics tutor who graduated from Cheltenham Girls’ High School with an ATAR of 98.55, placing 3rd in Mathematics Extension 1 and 5th in Mathematics Extension 2. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Actuarial Studies and Bachelor of Commerce at UNSW.

With experience tutoring HSC Mathematics, Sarah focuses on clear explanations, worked examples and personalised feedback to help students strengthen their understanding and build confidence in mathematics
